  • Review: I've had mine for a few years now and its still working great! Other drivers ask me what radio I'm using because it sounds very clear (even with the stock mic). One driver even asked me what power mic I was running because it sounded too good for a stock mic. I give this radio an 11/10 because of its quality!! If I had to buy another radio, I would buy another one of these in a heartbeat!

  • Review: No Nonsence. This is an excellent choice for a radio that can do it all. I use mine with a firestik 2 series antenna and have upgraded the Microphone to an Astatic 636L series. I have had nothing but good reports in all road and weather conditions. If you want a bang for your buck, you should consider owning this.

  • Review: This radio has a lot of features build into it which is a plus. It has a front mic jack and best of all -- 7 NOAA weather channels. I have received feedback from other CBers that I have a strong radio with no background noise. This is with a Radioshack branded dual 4' Twin-Trucker fiberglass antenna setup.

  • Review: ive owned this radio since christmas and it works GREAT!! i mounted a wilson trucker 2000 antenna to the toolbox and ive had drivers from miles around tell me how good the radio sounds. radio gets out easily four miles and maybe farther ive had guys tell me they can hear me 5 and six miles away so it has good output and is an all around great radio to have. p.s a step up from the stock mic is always good, i run a cobra power mic and it works beautifully.

  • Review: I've owned this radio for about a year, it replaced a midland 77-290. Pros: Can't beat it for the price, features (sound tracker is great!), easy to use (simplistic layout and design) and built like a tank! Great reception and transmission for CB bands and NOAA radio! Cons: Isn't the pretties radio on the market because it looks like a 70's radio. Overall: I've used this radio for a year and have had nothing but great good service from it. You will not be disappointed with your purchase!

  • Review: Howdy everyone, I recently bought this radio and I love it. This model of Cobra radio comes with all the bells and whistles you could want. It has the NightWatch system which provides great lighting at night, built in SWR meter, NOAA weather bands, and all sorts of adjuatments. I have added a Cobra M84 High Gear Mic which really completes a nice package, the stock mic is a little cheap looking, and pretty big and bulky. The only other thing I want to do is upgrade my antenna and I will be set. All in all I really like this radio and I would recomend it to anyone who might be considering buying one.
