Review: This CB radio was installed into my 05 Ford Ranger. I was able to tune my set up to a 1:1 SWR with a 3' Firestik antenna. The key here is that I tuned the antenna. Therefore with a proper set up I'll be able to give a proper review. This radio is fantastic! I sound clear and loud to other CB's! The controls are placed perfectly on this unit. I haven't had a problem with the speaker being to quite on this CB. However, this may because I'm not in an open topped Jeep, or have an aftermarket exhaust on my truck. I've really enjoyed this unit on the highway and have no problem receiving "bear reports" from miles away. Although every circumstance is different, I have been able to receive and transmit about 5~ +/-1 mile. Great radio! Highly recommend!

Review: I ordered this cb unit for my trail rig, the first one they sent me had some issues (squeal, no volume) i sent it back and they Quickly sent me out a replacement that worked Great..... has great sound clarity and no squeal.... thanks WalcottCB!

Review: I bought this for my Subaru Forester. I mounted the remote box under the center console. It was very easy to do. I like the fact that I can remove the entire unit and put it in the glove box. Recently on a trip I had great reception, chatted with truckers, heard where all the "BEARS" were, and it picked up NOAA out in the middle of the desert. The sound is great. I fabricated a mike mount for the air vent so the display and controls were near eye level.All in all, I am very happy with this CB, super EZ install, and I'm a girl!!! :)

Review: I can't believe how compact this unit is. Works well with my firestik antenna (about 4 miles range!) Only thing I would recommend is an external speaker for clearer sound.

Review: This thing sucks!!! I had Two both purchased at the same time. one in my wifes jeep, and one in my "Yota". I have an 8' wip and she has a 4' fiberglass. the radio broke up half the tim and the other half i could not get the thing to stay on.

Review: My buddy has one of these, he loves it because it doesn't take up any room and it works well. When talking to others on cb it's pretty clear too. Plus it's cool looking.
