This kit is similar to the MK174 kit with the added feature of front to back angle correction. Many vehicles have a slope to the hood and trunk channel and the fixed mount just won't work. The mount in this mini-kit is designed for hood, trunk and hatchback applications. The stainless steel mount fastens to the inside channel of the opening. There are no visible mounting holes! The included mounting hardware (also stainless steel) is hidden inside the channel.
