Say goodbye to the Galaxy 99, say hello to the new Galaxy DX94HP. The new Galaxy DX94HP is the model that has replaced the age-old DX99V for which everyone had a thing for, at least at one point or another. As they say, out with the old in with the new. The DX94HP offers many improvements over the DX99V the most noteworthy of which is a massive increase in modulated output power, up to 100 watts in fact. The DX94HP utilizes FOUR, you heard it, 4x IRF520 MOSFET final transistors yielding a whopping output power of 100 watts, that’s over 60 watts more than the DX99V! In effort to match a progressive market Galaxy has opted to continue with the all blue LED system which is fast becoming the standard. Another big plus is the EL faceplate, which allows for faceplate illumination with a variable control over the brightness level. Combine these new features with the time honored standards of the 99 like the Galaxy large meter display, (blue) frequency counter, Single Sideband, Echo, Voice Changer, and roger beep. The DX94HP is sure to make it’s mark.
