Review: Bought for use with a 3' firefly antenna. I really like this setup. The collar screws up onto the top piece that the antenna mounts to. Much more secure then the common quarter turn spring loaded setups. Seems plenty sturdy enough to handle even a 4' antenna, but they only rate it for 3'. Great price, nice workmanship.
