  • Review: Well, I initially really liked this radio for its simple design and audio quality. However, after only a week of use in my jeep I noticed that the RF Gain knob started acting strange and I would loose audio completely. The channel selector also developed a tendency to change channels all on its own. I was going to send the radio in for warranty repair, however when I read the warranty information it said there was a $35.00 charge, making it not worth the effort. I replaced it with a Uniden Pro 510 XL.

  • Review: Nice little radio. Small enough to fit in my Jeep but not get in the way. The speaker is surprisingly loud considering the small size. The squelch circuit is nice and sharp and the receiver seems better than most of the budget CB's I've used. I also appreciate the conservative styling of both the radio and microphone. It just looks better than something thats all chromed out and glowing. Simple is still the best!
