Drivers, or anyone whosoever decides to purchase the Connex 4300hp/300 it is a waste of money to do so however I have had the radio for over a year now and have had to put more money into what the system is Worth, I have also had the radio modified to perfection however never let a technichian tell you that it will swing over 300/400 when tuned because it is a flat out lie, I have had the radio completely modified if anyone who travels to NJ they call me "Eightbawl" the system that I have you cannot get any bigger than what I am running especially on a true bird meter. Drivers it is a waste of money to get this kind of radio take my advice I have had to repair this radio twice because the back of the system is not designed to handle too much power and can cause the circuitry board to burn up you all will be better off getting a 2 pill radio and put a box behind it (kicker) to make your radio walk the dog and kick the cat if you want to get out better, I have had to install a blower inside this type of radio to keep it cooled off because when it heats up you have no chance to recover once it goes, my system swings well over 500 watts with 4 2879 Toshiba Transistors and high forward AM power Modulation..... Eightbawl

Bought this radio and was happy with it for a day or so,then it stared to act up.Seems like it gets to hot inside and it can't get the heat out.Was a nice try but like the cobra 200gtl it needs some work done on it.And for the money they could have put a freq. counter on it.
