Review: I don't know if I have a defective unit but when connected to my peaked and tuned 29 the reception was only about 1 - 2 miles the best I could tell. There is a truck stop about a mile from my house driving distance so maybe a half mile as the crow flies and from what I could tell I was not able to reach anyone there reliably. I had a couple of Cobra magnet mount antennas that I purchased a few years back that seem to work far better than these from Wilson. I am disappointed as Wilson usually has good quality products as I have 4 of them for my truck and am currently using a 2000 on my truck that works great. I most likely will not try Wilson magnet mounts again after this experience. I'm disappointed.

Review: textbook to tune, instant improvement in transmit and receive. I recommend this to anyone who is tired of spending money on other antennas under $50 that just do not hold up or perform.
